Fox Sterlingworth SxS Shotgun – 12 Gauge
Used Fox Sterlingworth side-by-side shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with 32″ barrels. Chokes marked F/F with 2 5/8″ chambers. Weight listed at 7.50 lbs.
Features include double triggers, pistol grip stock, splinter forend, and plastic buttplate. Length of pull measures approximately 14 1/8″, with DAC 1 3/4″ and DAH 2 3/4″. Cast listed as none.
Metal and wood condition rated excellent with bore condition noted as good.
Phila. gun made in 1927. Case colored, rust blued and re-stocked by gunsmith Bob Railey, of LaVale, MD. Sharp lettering with no dings or dents. Nicely figured, esp. on the off-side. Minor bore pitting. There is a gap between receiver and headstock, but everything is tight. Toe repair and hairline crack on near side behind receiver.
